Roman Spillmann (*1992) is a photographer based in Zürich, Switzerland. He holds a BA in Fine Arts and is currently studying Environmental Engineering with a focus on urban ecosystems and species knowledge. His work combines artistic expression with scientific inquiry, particularly in the fields of nature research and biodiversity. His photographic focus lies in revealing ecological connections and the diversity of life. By building a bridge between aesthetics and science, he uses photography as a tool to raise awareness for the beauty, complexity, and vulnerability of our natural environment.
